The Christmas Family Portrait event will take place on Saturday, 4th December and then for 3 days from 6th,7th 8th December. The shoot will take place at Prospect Street Gallery, Prospect Street, Hull, which will be festively dressed and ready for families and friends wishing to create and capture a special moment. The event offers families the opportunity to enjoy a mini-Christmas portrait session with a professional photographer, with one free digital photo file, all for a donation of £5.

A series of photographs will be taken during the 15 minute session and one free high quality digital image will be included as part of the package. Participants will be able to print this image as they please for Christmas cards, cups, coasters, photo frames and more. There will be an opportunity to purchase more photos taken on the day, with additional donations going to support the Trussell Trust.

All donations from The Christmas Family Portrait event will go to the Trussell Trust. The Trussell Trust has been NewRiver’s corporate charity partner since 2019.  The Trussell Trust supports more than 1,200 food banks across the UK to provide a minimum of three days’ nutritionally-balanced emergency food to people in need, as well as providing support to help people resolve the challenges they face. Through the partnership, NewRiver provides financial support at a corporate level and from fundraising at its community shopping centres, as well as identifying local opportunities to use assets for storage, donation drop-off points, awareness campaigns and volunteer recruitment.
