World Seniors Darts Matchplay to take place in Hull

Due to incredible demand for tickets we have added an EXTRA night of darts action at the Bonus Arena, Hull…and added even more tickets for the other two days!
The inaugural JenningsBet World Seniors Darts Matchplay will now start on Friday, 1 July and continue on the previously announced sessions on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July.
The Friday session starts at 7pm and extra balcony tickets have been added for the sold out Saturday sessions!
Tickets for all three days are now on sale from or Ticketmaster.
Legendary 16 time World Champion and 16 time World Matchplay winner Phil Taylor will headline a field of 20 players over the age of 50, which includes JenningsBet World Seniors Championship winner Robert Thornton.
Also confirmed for the tournament are former World Matchplay champions Peter Evison and Larry Butler, alongside former World Champions Martin Adams, John Part, Keith Deller, John Lowe, Bob Anderson and Lisa Ashton.
Former World Matchplay finalist Peter Manley, Terry Jenkins and Ronnie Baxter have also accepted invitations, as have Kevin Painter and Deta Hedman.

Further places will be up for grabs at the Qualifying Events, which will take place on 10-12 June at Reading’s Crucible Club.

The remaining spots will be confirmed in due course.

Billy Lovell of the World Seniors Darts Tour said: “The response to the World Seniors events so far has been fantastic. We wanted to give as many people as possible the chance to attend an event so hosting the Matchplay in the North of England helps us to do that.

“We’ve already seen at the World Championship what kind of buzz can be created through nostalgia and a very high-standard of performance and we have no doubt that this will be replicated in Hull in July.”

Please note – previously purchased weekend tickets are only valid for the Saturday and Sunday sessions. If you have a weekend ticket and would also like to attend on Friday, you will need to purchase an extra ticket.
